Frank at Lee Valley Pensioners
Lee Valley Pensioners group came out in force on Wednesday to listen to local historian, Frank Carlyle.
Frank gave an introductory talk to the 70 strong group about some aspects of Liverpool’s local history and emphasised the importance of retaining individuals stories for future listening. Frank touched on some local landmarks, some of Liverpool’s firsts, it wider connection with world events and a bit of Charles Dickens. With some of the crowd being openly vocal we look forward to the next few weeks where we will be gathering story contributions from the participants.
Franks talk (approx 30 mins) is posted below for you to listen to (This is just Audio not Video).
